यह गीत 1963 की फिल्म ‘तेरे घर के सामने’ का टाइटल सॉन्ग और सबसे पॉपुलर रोमांटिक ट्रैक है। संगीत एस.डी. बर्मन ने दिया, गीत हसरत जयपुरी ने लिखे, और इसे मोहम्मद रफ़ी व लता मंगेशकर ने अपनी मधुर और जोशीली आवाज़ों में गाया। फिल्म में देव आनंद और नूतन पर फिल्माया गया, जिसमें देव आनंद बार में बैठकर नूतन की कल्पना करते हुए गाते हैं (नूतन को व्हिस्की ग्लास में दिखाया गया है)।
